Hi TI Experts,

As attached release note,  we found out that the BT5 stack has known issues / limitation which required Off-Chip OAD with SPI Flash.

From the launch pad, it supports SPI flash Macronix MX25R8035FZUIL0 (8Mb, 8- USON 2x3mm)

For our PCB size, cost and support consideration, please advise whether below part was tested working good with TI CC2640R2F:

MX25R8035F Wide Range 8Mb v1 4.pdf

Does TI has any SPI flash memory recommendation too?

    Hi Teach Me,

    The CC2640 will communicate with any SPI device provided the electrical specifications fit the specs of the CC2640.

    As far as I can tell you want to use the same part as on the LaunchPad, but in a different package. I would assume that to work, but you should of course read the datasheet to confirm.
