Compiler/CC2640R2F: FYI: Samsung s8 does NOT support BLE 5 Coded PHY (Long Range)

A general Warning here to save everyone's time and money (not TI's fault, I know):

Samsung s8 does NOT support BLE 5 Coded PHY (Long Range). We are returning our s8 after failing tests.

Here's an extract of their BLE 5 certification, sourced by Android Authority.

    Hi Jerome,

    I did reply to your similar post in my pinned BT5 post and provided a link to the actual SIG listing for this handset.

    Please note that is is optional in Bluetooth to support any feature added in Bluetooth 4.1 or later, including Bluetooth 5 high speed and coded PHYs. Since this phone does not claim to support the LE Coded PHYs, it is considered compliant to the Bluetooth specification. 

    Also, I did remove your picture since it's not clear if it can be re-posted. You can add a link to the blog site if needed.
