CC2650: The examples given with the BLE stack are not working

Hi,

I'm using CC2650 launchpad and the example codes given in the stack are not working.

Given below is the error code that I get when I compile the stack.
This project contains 1 unresolved buildable linked resource(s).

The projects are imported to a new works space; I had faced this issue before also but got fixed when I reinstalled the BLE-stack,but unfortunately I deleted some file from the source

and I tried reinstalling the stack and everything started repeating.

If anyone has tried the same cc2650 lauchpad with the given examples , please help me, I got targets to finish.

Hi Joe,

Are you using CCS? CCS will copy files into the workspace, it's possible that they are lingering from the old SDK installation. Maybe try to delete the workspace copy of the project and reimport.

If you're using IAR, this won't help, as projects are opened linking directly to the SDK files.

Which resource can't be linked? It'll be in your build log, it might help indicate what's missing.

Hi,
I deleted the workspace and the link error is not coming up now but the the code is still not working , I'm not able to discover the BLE connection in BLE scanner.

Hi,
I found that while importing the projects, if I check the option 'Copy projects into workspace' , the code is not working properly
but in the other way the code is working fine, How can I fix it as I need a separate copy in my workspace.

Hi Joe,

I can't tell what your errors are? Note there are some stack files that are linked in the project (instead of copied), copying them will cause the project to no longer work.

You could manually create these links in your copied workspace? I'm not sure what the best route here is - here's the method we recommend: software-dl.ti.com/.../developing_in_ccs.html

if it is the linkage problem then what is the point in importing projects to a workspace?
There is afterall nothing in it if we do not copy the source files

Hi Joe,

The idea here is that all the application related code (the Application Folder, Profiles folder, drivers, etc) is project specific.

The stack code should ideally never be changed - that's why it's linked. Atleast that's my understanding

I'm not even importing the project specific files to my workspace(not copied) ,if I give the copy to workspace option ,files are copied but BLE connection wont work.
