Hey Team!
My customer was seeing current pulses at certain frequencies, even when the device is in sleep mode. We informed them that what they are seeing are charge pulses needed for RAM retention.
Below are the questions they had related to these pulses.
1) Are they able to adjust these pulses at all? Is there any setting in software for this or is this entirely in hardware?
2) If the device is awake running the periodic task every 5 seconds, will we see these charge pulses, while the CPU is executing the periodic task? If true, what is the expected power consumption, pulse duration and pulse periodicity, when the cpu is awake?
3) Will the periodicity of these pulses change if the beacons are more frequent? Likewise, will the amplitude of the pulse change if the beacons are more frequent or less?
