CC2650: IAR - SimpleBLE peripheral - create a new configuration

Part Number: CC2650

Hello,

I am using CC2650 SimpleBLE Peripheral project in IAR and willing to create a new configuration based on FlashROM one. Any attempt to do so, however, fails: I tried to copy all project settings from the FlashROM configuration to the new one, including manual editing of .dep/.ewd/.ewp/.ewt files but it didn't help - the newly created configuration never compiles succesfully - there is always some kind of error, such as duplicate definitions etc. Perhaps there are some additional FlashROM-specific definitions spread into stack/project files/source code, however I am out of idea how to identify these...

What is the intelligent and correct way to succesfully create a new configuration in this case?

Any help to resolve the issue would be appreciated...

Kind regards

  • You can go to IAR->Project->Edit Configurations and press New... button to create a new configuration.

  • Dear Chen,
Thanks for reply. This step is, indeed, the first thing that I did. It doesn't work "out of the package", however. I had to copy the configuration settings of the old configuration over the new one in the files .dep/.ewd/.ewp/.ewt. Then, still had to remove some project files from the newly created configuration. Now the project under new configuration compiles fine, but I feelit too much manual work, and a bit reluctant to accept what I did is the right way....
  • Hi Kamen Ivanov,
Yes. Your way is good way. It will be easier than if you want to set all configuration by yourself. Because there are many settings in a project of BLE stack.
