LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: TX Power Level Software Issue

Hello,

I am currently setting the TX Power Level in Project 0, using the USER_CONFIG.c file. The information needed to set the power level is listed below. However, when setting the power level based on the look up tables, it is very inconsistent with the TI datasheet. At 0dBm ~ 4.8mA, and at 5dBm ~6.2mA.

According to datasheet, 0dbm would consume 6.1mA and 5dbm would consume 9.1 mA. What inconsistency do you see?

At 0dBm it is consuming 4.8mA and at 5dBm it is consuming 6.2mA when setting the TX Power Level.

With the CC2640R2F-LP I have all of the jumpers removed. My Power supply at 3.00Volts is connected to the 3.3V and GND and a Hall Effect Current Probe (Tektronix TCP0030A) connected to an Oscope.
