CC2564MODA: Using module with other micro-controller

Hi,

I am modifying my existing product and adding BLE functionality in the same. For this I am thinking to use CC2564MODA module in my product. I have to use the read/write mechanism using GATT profile to communicate with sensors.

I do have following questions -

1. Can this module be used with existing micro-controller (i.e. Co-processor)?

2. Can this module be used as central role?

3. if yes then what will be protocol to communicate with the module over uart?

Yes, CC2564 is used with several MCUs. It can act as a central unit and please refer to the below WiKi page for product details (HW and SW).

from the wiki i am not able to capture complete information. Need help.

1. Does CC2564 is HCI module and we need to compile the BLE stack on host controller?

2. If BLE stack is present in the CC2564 module then how to communicate with it? I am interested to communicate using UART.

I want to use it as complete BLE module (stack should be on module). I hope this is possible.
