I am working on a custom board of cc2640r2f having the 4x4 chip. I changed the CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.c, CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.h, board.h with the 4x4 files and rename them to CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL in every field. to change the board configuration of the folder. I wanted to ask that will this work correctly?

It should work if your IO pin usage is the same to 4x4 board file.

While reading the chip version of the controller using flash programmer 2, it shows 2.x* . What is the meaning of this?

TI has difference chip versions for different production time. However, I am not sure what's the revision in 2.x. It should be mentioned somewhere but I cannot find it.

In the given link, there is a condition of working on or above chip version 2.3. To check the version mentioned in the link using flash programmer 2, my chip shows 2.x* so , should I assume that I have a version of 2.3 or higher, or is there any other way to find it.
