CC2640R2F: 24MHz XTAL for restricted space

Hello,

i am still working on a miniaturized design with CC2650/CC2640R2F. My problem is, that the XTAL from Epcos still is the biggest component. In the application notes for the xtal selection there are a few alternatives with smaller footprints. Unfortunately no distributor can provide me that components in Germany.

So my question is, whether i can use 8Q-24.000MEEV-T from TCX. The datasheet says it has an esr of 100Ohm but for the uC max 60Ohm are recommended.

    Hello Andreas,

    It's strongly recommended to stay within the recommended ESR rating for CC26xx. I'm not aware of other compatible 24M xtals but if you do find one please share the spec so we can review.
