CC2640R2F: User Friendly Android App for BLE Testing.

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Hi,

For BLE Testing I have been using PunchThrough LightBlue IOS App, and it is very user friendly. There is an option to change the read value from hex to ASCII. Also it displays all the names of the Services.

But for Android App so far I have been using only nRF Connect and it is just very basic and not user friendly. It will display "Unknown Services" to most of the services. Also if I read a characteristic value that is in ascii, I would need to re-type the output value at my PC then check in the internet what is the ascii equivalent. So, it is not user friendly.

What Android App is User Friendly for BLE Testing?
