cc2650: Bluetooth speaker with BLE remote

Hi,

I'm looking at designing a Bluetooth speaker and I'd like to provide a wireless remote to control it.

Is it conceivably possible to operate the CC2650 as a Bluetooth audio receiver and also as a master to a BLE device?

I accept that a considerable amount of software development may be required and purely want to know if it's possible.

Please check dual mode BT device like CC2564. CC2650 is BLE device.

Hi,

Please can you confirm that the CC2564's dual mode BT allows for simultaneous connections to a audio source (i.e. mobile phone/tablet) and to a slave BLE device?

Which audio profile is being considered?
As, described in CC2564 data sheet: www.ti.com/.../cc2560.pdf , it is not possible to have assisted modes i.e assisted HFP, a2dp and BLE. If, you are not using assisted modes, then simultaneous HFP/a2dp and BLE is possible..
