CC2640R2F: CC2640R2F Does not respond to bootloader commands

Hello,

i tried to program the CC2640R2F using the bootloader. I start the device and send the autobauding sequence, which is answered by the BLE chip with an ACK. Afterwards, I send a ping command (COMMAND_PING 0x20) but i don't get any response from the bluetooth chip. Also on falsh erase bank or any other commands, i get no response.

I already implemented the firmware update over the bootloader interface for an CC2640 and there it worked.

Is there any diffrence between the CC2640 and CC2640R2F? Can anyone give me a hint what's going wrong?

Hi Rene,

Can you take a bus trace when programming the CC2640R2 LaunchPad using SmartRF Flash Programmer 2 v1.7.5+? Programming using the ROM bootloader does work with this tool and CC2640R2F. Comparing the trace to your board would probably be a good start.

I currently got another device for testing and it worked. On my old device there seems to be some hardwarebug.
