CCS/CC2640R2F: Uart Echo code not working in launchpad

I compiled and downloaded UART echo code to launchpad CC2640R2. there is no error in code but when i m trying to see data in hyperterminal or termite it is showing could not connect to com30. i have done all the settings and everything. please help me with this.

Try to close CCS and connect hyperterminal with virtual COM of LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 first.

If hyper-terminal is not detecting the port,
1. launchpad was disconnected from the PC without using Safely Remove Hardware Option in which case you need to restart the PC.
2. Debugger on the Launchpad may be damaged, you can use Smart RF Flash Programmer and see if it detects CC2640R2F.
