CC2640R2F: Recovering B image

Hi...

I am working on a project with CC2640R2. I have a doubt. After we reset the B image the control comes to A image. Can the B image be recovered again? Is there a way to recover the B image??

Hi Renuga,

When you say recovery, are you referring to the hex? Assuming you haven't flashed over it with another image, yes, you can!

You can read flash to file in SmartRF Flash Programmer 2.

If you mean boot back into the image - you can attempt to manually reset the CRC shadow field and attempt to have BIM verify it. It highly depends on why it can't load the B Image. Find this out by starting a debug session with BIM and see how it behaves.
