Do you test this with SimpleLink Starter APP?

OK, for the first one, it seems I have to use OAD to download the application project. For the second one, do you mean the Project Zero? Can I access to the app source code to see how the phone connects to the sensortag?

For second question, most of smartphone allows only one connection.

So can the app connect with one sensortag at a time, complete data transmission, disconnect and connect to another one? That's fine to me. if that works, how the app normally detects a certain sensortag? By sensortag's name or something else? (it seems in previous FAQs u said the user can't change the sensortag's device name)

Simplelink Starter App would scan SensorTag advertising and show devInfoModelNumber which is defined as "CC2650 SensorTag" in SensorTag example source code. There is no problem to change the value of devInfoModelNumber and Simplelink Starter App still can detect it.

Thank you for your help,it seems that devInfoModelNumber is not the parameter that the app uses to find the sensortag and establish connection. In one evothing app tutorial, it says: To determine the identity of a device using scanning, you can use several methods. Two useful ways are to use the name of the device and/or the advertised service UUIDs of the device.

So I wonder how to change the "name of the device" for app to detect or how can I find the advertised service UUIDs in the sensortag source code?
