Hi,
I used two CC2640R launchpads. One of them had "long range_central" project installed on it. The other one had "longrange_peripheral". Testing took place in an open area. Having connected one launchpad to the other through the terminal I saw that the launchpads had switched to the "Long range" mode. I got the distance between them about 90 meters. Then I scanned the air with a phone, and saw an advertisement that was being broadcasted from the launchpad at a distance of about 90 meters. Why did the phone see the advertisement? Why does "Long range" not work? Why "long range" is not long?
