CC2640: Minimum pins needed to Programme and Debug CC2640 ?

Hi,

I have a CC2650 Lauchpad and we are also making a board with CC2640, I wanted to know what all pins must be left for programming and debugging

purpose by using the TM4C129 debugger/programmer in the lauchpad ?As of now, in the design we have TMS,TCK,TDO,TDI and RST pins left for

programming/debugging purpose,is there any other pins needed to serve the need; what about the SWO pin?

Hi Joe,

The minimum pins required when using the XDS110 on the LaunchPad are: TMS, TCK, RST, VDD and GND.

Hi,
Can you tell me the functionality of SWO here, I saw in the schematic of CC2640 that SWO(DIO18) is connected to the TM4C129; why is it not needed in programming ? why still the connection there?

Can you also tell why did't you mention TDI and TDO , are thy not needed in programming?

They are not required when using XDS110.
