RTOS/CC2640R2F: CC2640R2F Maximum advertising payload size

Hello,

I was checking out BLE 5 specficitions

The max payload size is 255 octets, whereas in every example code for CC2650R2F e.g. Simple peripheral code the max advertising packet size mentioned is 31 bytes. So does CC2640R2F supports 255 byte  payload size for advertising??
