CC2650STK: Stack 2.2.1 Peripheral + Observer

Part Number: CC2650STK

I have a working peripheral+observer example on CC2650STK from the BLE stack 2.1.1 extras. I would like to upgrade to 2.2.1 but the example is for the LaunchPad. Do I just change the board files to adapt it for CC2650STK?
