CCS/CC2640: Empty Project (with main.c) won't compile even after confirming all the build and debug settings

Attached is the errors I get when trying to build the blank project (with main.c) for the CC2640F128.

I haven't a clue where to begin; forum searching hasn't gotten me anywhere.

I'm very new to the CC26x0 BLE platform.

I suggest you to use empty example at dev.ti.com/.../ as starting example.

The issue is that these empty examples are for CC2650, we need an empty project for CC2640F128, just a "good to go" project with RTOS.
Can't believe is so hard to find or find out how to start a project, or start your own project without being an industry seasoned expert to get a Hello World running.

These empty examples are for CC2650 and they also work for CC2640F128.

OK Noted!

Next issue is that the empty projects are very far from 'good-to-go' as absolutely none of the project properties look complete.

It looks there is something wrong when you import empty project. The following screen shot is from my imported empty exmple in CCS. What CCS version do you use and how do you import an empty example?
