LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: OAD On-Chip: OAD Exchange MTU Failed

Dear TI experts,

I am considering developing my application using OAD On-chip in CCS.

I realized that CC2650 and CC2640 do not support OAD On-Chip using CCS. Then I decided to test it on the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2.

I followed the instruction of On-Chip OAD demo. I used a LAUNCHXL-CC2650 as the OAD Downloader.

When I want to use BTool to download the Application image to the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 I faced this Error: OAD Exchange MTU Failed. and Then OAD Download Not Successful.

I am using the latest SDK and its BTool as well as the CCS v7.3.

I appreciate that if you could help me solve this issue.

Had to port my stack because of issues with the old stack -> Same problem with the new BIM. Also I would appreciate a solution.

TI? I've had contact 2 times with customer services to just have a reply on this thread. First time they told me a reply would be expected in 3 days (about 10 days back), and if not, to contact them again. second time they told me customer service forgot to create a ticket for the issue, so they created one for me ( 1 week back)...

Hi Petty,

I recommend that you use another TI CC2640R2F Launchpad as downloader with host_test hex file from SDK v1.40.

Will there be a btool update to have our customers not buy a Launchpad to update their software?
