In your code do you have a separate #define for DEFAULT_LE_IO_CAPABILITY and DEFAULT_IO_CAPABILITY? If you look at the SPPLEDemo that comes with the stack, there are 2 separately defined values. Are you attempting to connect over BT classic or BLE?

Yes there is separate define as it is SPP+LE stack. Here after the copy/paste from the code:
#define DEFAULT_LE_IO_CAPABILITY (licNoInputNoOutput) /* Denotes the */

We want to have BT classic and LE capability. When enabling the SPP only (= running the SPPLE stack without advertising the LE and opening the SPP server mode only) WINDOWS is asking for a pin code when pairing although the DEFAULT_MITM_PROTECTION is false.

In the SetPairable() function, is

Result = GAP_Set_Pairability_Mode(BluetoothStackID, pmPairableMode_EnableSecureSimplePairing);

For there to be no PINCode entered, Secure Simple Pairing must be activated instead of Legacy pairing.
