cc2650: Flash Programmer 2 and Windows 10?

The Flash Programmer product page states:-

"SmartRF Flash Programmer and SmartRF Flash Programmer 2 run on 32 and 64-bit versions of Microsoft® Windows 7 and Windows 8."

Are you intending to support Flash Programmer 2 on Windows 10? Perhaps it should "just work"?

When I tried it it did not recognise attached devices. Screen shot attached.

More info:-

The Flash Programmer 2 version is 1.7.5 (also in screen shot).

Running the same Flash Programmer 2 version on Windows 7 with the same device correctly identifies and programs it.

Make sure you don’t have CCS or SmartRF Studio opened at the same time.

@YK: Thanks for the tip; but I don't have CCS or SmartRF Studio installed on this WIN 10 machine and can see nothing suspicious in Task Manager (but I could have missed something in those long lists). Have you been running FP2 on WIN 10?

Yes, I can run FP2 on both Win7 and Win 10 without problem.

I have the exact issue - setup works in Win 7 but not Win 10. Clicking on the device brings up the window below. If I try to upgrade firmware then the connection to the device is lost midway (the device needs to be flashed on the Win 7 system using xdsdfu.exe to recover).

Yes, I have 2 VMs - one Win 7 and one Win 10.

Maybe it's VM causes the issue. I suggest you to try Win 10 running directly on a desktop instead of VM?
