CC2640R2F: How to enable long range mode

Thanks for your reply. All I need to do is change the PHY to enable long range mode? I find this command in Simple_peripheral.c(and Simple_central.c) which parameter I need to use?

WHat do you mean by same result? Can you be more specific? (E.g. what is the return status of HCI_LE_SetPhyCmd()?)

My test is showing below
HW : LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 x 2
SW : simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_50_00_71 --> ble5_simple_central, ble5_simple_peripheral
IDE : CCS 7.3.0.00019

1. add RLED function: control RLED in ble5_simple_peripheral(connect : on, disconnect : off)
2. central connect to peripheral
3. uart message : central --> Work with --> peripheral address --> Set Conn PHY Perference --> Coded : S2 --> PHY Update status : 0x00 --> peripheral address : PHY updated to Coded:S2
4. test distance (check RLED on or off) --> I got same distance result which use "1M bps"

Do I enable long range correctly or I miss something? thanks
