CC2564MODA: HCITester OOB has no scripts

I've installed the Wireless Test Tools in the default location on Windows 10, & read http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru415a/swru415a.pdf SWRU136B , but there are no .bts script files in there. The user guide says that there should have been some in the xml directory, but it hasn't been created.

The CC256x Service Pack Download links on

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_Service_Pack_User%27s_Guide only have links to C's & B's - they don't have links to .bts's for the modA

So where can I get the right ones from?

I've got access to Docklight, so could try that in the meantime, but surely there's a way to install this programme so that it has a basic set of scripts to start with?
I was hoping to check it out with 2 com ports back to back, until the hardware is ready - is that possible?

I found some scripts on git.ti.com/.../initscripts, but nothing basic enough yet...

Baby steps, but getting there...

I found a Service Pack which is close enough to the CC2564's & it contained an .xml which worked.
I just had to add CC256XB_BT_SP\TIInit_6.12.26.xml to HCItester's Command Library path so that it loaded on startup & now all of the HCI commands can be expanded, one by one. I think the documentation's been written on a PC where the tool was already setup & they haven't done clean install & documented all the steps.

Apologies for the delay, but you are correct. You needed to load the .xml file from the Service Pack download into HCI tester before proceeding. Additionally as per this previous thread, CC2564MODA is based on CC256xB so that service pack should be used.

I presume that as well as loading the command library, TIInit_6.12.26.xml also loads the .bts into the device. Does it load all 3 .bts files in the SP, on after the other? And the CC2564modA needs the wait delay increased to 5 seconds?

The xml file doesn't load the .bts files into the device, see the HCITester User Guide to see how to execute the .bts scripts. To include the BLE or AVPR add ons, as per the service pack user guide, you'll need to copy the content of the bts files into the main bts file (initscript-TIInit_6.12.26.bts).
