Hey fellas,

I am trying to configure cc2640 in central role using cc2650em simple_central example. I have properly configured it for cc2640 and when I dumped this sample in cc2640 chip It's not getting showed in any bluetooth app. So I want to print device list using printf statement. Here where I am calling printf function to print the device list.

I dont whether its correct or not. Help me out.

Hi Harsh,

You don't have to make any software changes to change from CC2650 to CC2640.

The simple_central example does not advertise, so it's not supposed to show up on BLE apps.

However it will print out over UART or LCD (depends on how you configure it).

What if i want to use simply printf statement to print out all scanned devices? I dont want to use UART and LCD.

And one more thing is that I am not getting callback event for device discovery in simple_central.c file.

Hi Harsh,

What do you want to use to print then?

Did you navigate through the menu and start scanning for devices? (If you didn't, you won't get any device discovery events.)
