Hi,

I am new to BLE and host test firmware.

I am using host test firmware in one of my product. In which I want to restart the BLE module CC2650MODA.

Is there any way/command to restart the host test firmware?

Try to refer to www.ti.com/.../swra534a.pdf to porting HostTest to CC2650MODA.

Hi Vishal,

The simplest way is to connect the reset pin of CC2650MODA to your MCU.

Hi Fredrik,

Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately reset pin is not attached to my MCU hence not able to reset using reset pin.

Is there any command available which can be sent from UART which will reset the host test firmware?

If you run HostTest, I remember there is HCI command to do reset which you can try.

As per TI_BLE_Vendor_Specific_HCI_Guide.pdf HHCI_EXT_ResetSystemCmd(0cFC1) command is for CC254x and CC264x modules. I am using CC2650MODA.

Will same command work for CC2650MODA?

It should be if you run HostTest.
