CC2640R2F NVS Driver doesn't work with BLE Stack

I am using the BLE broadcaster example from the BLE Stack in the CC2640 SDK V1.5, I have tried adding the NVS support to the example based on the NVS TI-driver example and the program fails during NVS_inti(), I have modified the board files to include the NVS drivers configurations based on that in the example. Is the NVS not supported in the BLE stack?

I have tried that before moving to the BLE broadcaster, works fine, I just copied the modified example into my BLE broadcatser afterwards

If you want to use NV in BLE Stack, I suggest you to use SNV API. You can refer to sunmaysky.blogspot.tw/.../how-to-create-new-task-in-ti-rtos-to.html

I have followed the instructions in the link, I have also added #include <soal_snv.h> however when I compiled my project I got a compile error fatal error #10192: Failed linktime optimization because of the oaal_snv_init();
Do I need to change the project build options?

Do you define OSAL_SNV=1 or 2 in your project predefined symbols?

I have added the definition #define OSAL_SNV 1 but I still get the same compiler error, I also get a warning associated with osal_snv_init(): function "AssertHandler" declared implicitly simple_broadcaster.c /simple_broadcaster_cc2640r2lp_app/Application line 389 C/C++ Problem
