Hi,

I need some help programming a hex file into the CC2650MODA chip. I have a MSP-EXP432P401R launchpad connected to a BOOSTXL-CC2650MA module booster pack.

I am trying to follow the "SimpleLink MSP432 SDK Bluetooth Plugin / SNP Fundamentals" c:/ti/simplelink_academy_msp432sdk_1_15_02_00/modules/sdk_bluetooth_plugin/sdk_bluetooth_plugin.html.

I am getting an error (see attached) when I try to program a hex file into the CC2650 module using SmartRF Flash Programmer 2 version 1.7.5 software.

What am I missing?

    Try to do a mass erase and download again.

    Hi,

    I tried to do the CC26xx/CC13xx Forced Mass Erase. I am still unsuccessful. I am now getting this error message:

    >Initiate access to target: XDS-M4321005.

    >Create XBAL object failed: Target connect failed

    >Failed to create device object.

    Attached is a picture of my board connection.

    I have also tried to use UniFlash version 4.2.2.1692. I am getting this error message in UniFlash.

    I have already tried on 3 different BOOSTXL-CC2650MA and MSP-EXP432P401R board sets. I am getting the same results.

    Will you be able to try this on your end?

    When I test this, I mount GND, 5V, and 3V3 jumpers between XDS110 and MSP432 on LaunchPad and I also mount BOOSTXL-CC2650MA to MSP432 LanunchPad to program it. You can try the same thing to see if it works.
