LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1: TI-Simple link app issues

Hi I am trying to familiarize myself with the CC1352R1 and Launchpads in general as I've never really worked on them before. To do this I was trying to follow  that TI video on how to set up a thread network which should work on this device according to document notations. I got the project 0 working (sort of) but I have to keep exiting the app until it works, it displays an error saying "no services found" on the android app. And whenever it does work, the thread programs all say they are incompatible. Has anyone encountered this or a similar problem?

    Hello,

    Are you trying to use the BLE Project 0 and the android simple link starter app?
    These sample applications are confirmed to work together.

    Note that you may need to flash the project zero sample application and BIM on the device, in the event that something else might be flashed there.
