My CC2650 Launchpad got damaged due to some short circuit.

I am developing OAD on cc2640 device.

I have downloaded combined target code(unified hex file) on one of the CC2640 custom device device.

now i want to setup the host.Can I use my cc2640 PCB as host and download code into CUSTOM TARGET BOARD through BTOOL using xds100v3.

In short can i use my custom board as downloader with the help of xds100v3 debugger?

How BTOOL communicate with launchpad? JTAG or UART?

My challenge is developing CC2640 OAD using two cc2640 custom PCB and XDS100V3 Debugger.

did anyone else tried this?

Hi,

BTool communicates with CC26xx LaunchPad via UART. You should be able to use BTool to do OAD to a peripheral device that supports the OAD profile.

hi Zahid,

Thanks for the reply .I was not able to figure out that. Now I have got a new cc2540 debugger Iam trying on that.

now the problem is I am using rf sniffer user manual found in this website:

I am not able to find this window:

instead i am getting this window

which user manual should i refer to implement OAD for CC2640 custom device.

The OAD guide is embedded within the SDK docs. For the CC2640R2 device, the OAD guide is located here:
