Hello,

Could you please suggest which antenna I can use as chip antenna for CC2540? And if you can provide example schematic?

In some other post I see that you suggest http://www.ti.com/tool/CC2541-POSTAGE-STAMP-RD

design. Can I use this for CC2540? I've no idea how different 40 and 41 are regarding the RF stuff (no experience with antennas whatsoever).

This question has been covered before on the forum. I did a google search on "cc2540 chip antenna" and found a few threads.

In general any chip antenna for 2.4 GHz should be possible to use but some types may require some additional matching to get the correct impedance.

I did that. What I'm asking is if I can use CC2541-POSTAGE-STAMP reference design for CC2540 without any problems?
CC2540 and CC2541 have the same RF module?

What you asked about is the antenna. Since the antenna should have a 50 ohm interface it does not matter which RF chip you use.

The IPC used in the design you ref to looks to be this one: www.ti.com/.../swra297b.pdf which can be used with CC2540 and CC2541.
