Hello,

I have developed a firmware by talking project zero as reference,

And I was measuring the current consumption of my device it is showing as 750 micro amperes in Idle state that when the device (CC2640R2-LAUNCH XL) is just in advertising mode,

So i was willing to save more power, and as i was going the power management document i have seen a standby mode where power consumption is less,

So can i use the mode in my device in Idle State where in i can reduce power consumption,

Please help me with steps to use the standby mode or any other mode where i can save power while the device is just advertising

I have gone through Power Management user guide but not able use the power Policy in my code

Please help me with this

Hi,

How are you measuring the current, have you tried measuring the current when running the original project zero?
Could you provide a picture of the measurement setup?

In general, when you are using TI-RTOS, the device will always try to go into the lowest possible power mode available based on the constrains set in your system. What this means is that if you do not do any custom changes to power policy and constrains, your system should likely be in the lowest power mode available.

I am Sorry for delayed responce

I am measuring Current using multi meter

As you said that project zero is already written in such a way to consume less power and i should make changes so i will go by this and not make any changes.
