CC1350: DeviceActivity: No characteristics found for this service !!!

Hey everyone ,

I am developing an app using CC1350 SensorTag kit . I am using sdk available at : https://git.ti.com/sensortag-20-android

I am facing an issue . When i compile it and run it I get an error .

The app stops at 7% and android studio debugger throw this error:

04-02 12:21:06.670 18169-18257/com.example.ti.ble.sensortag D/DeviceActivity: No characteristics found for this service !!!

PC Operating system and version: Win10 64bit

Android studio version: 3.1

Android SDK version:Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) API 25 and Android 8.1 (Oreo) API 27

JAVA: 1.8.0_161

Unfortunately, I did not find any documentation how to set up android studio for the sensortag app.

Does anybody have any advice for me?

Hi Kunwar,

What code did you have loaded in the CC1350 SensorTag kit - did you use one of the examples like simple_peripheral, or had you modified something? Additionally, if you keep the same code in your CC1350 SensorTag kit, are you able to see the characteristics in the google play store version of the app (instead of the one you are working with)? This is to try to narrow down on what side the issue is occurring.

Any update - can you provide more information like the code used and whether you can see the characteristics in the released version of the app from the play store?
