Linux/CC2564MODA: cc2564moda+sama5d27 board

Part Number: CC2564MODA
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2564, TI-BT-4-2-STACK-LINUX-ADDON,

Tool/software: Linux

Hi,

We are doing a project and are using CC2564MODA module and SAMA5D27-SOM1-EK board. Will CC2564 module is compatible with SAMA5D27 board using bluetooth stack provided by TI? If not can you suggest any bluetooth module that is compatible with SAMA5D27 board?

  • Rakesh,

Does you host processor run on Linux/ Are you considering using the TI Bluetooth Stack Add-on for Linux (TI-BT-4-2-STACK-LINUX-ADDON)?

    Best regards,
    Vihang
  • Hi Vihang,

Yes Linux run on the host MCU.And we are going to use Linux Addon (TI_BT_4-2-STACK_LINUX_ADDON).

Can you suggest a bluetooth module that works with SAMA5D27-SOM1-EK kit?

Since the SAMA5D27-SOM1-EK is not one of the officially supported host platforms, none of the existing connectors on a CC256x EVM (like COM8 connector or the RF connectors) can be used to interface with this board. You may have to do some hardware prototyping with some jumper wires.

If you are using the CC2564MODA in your project, you can use the CC2564MODAEM for evaluation/prototype.

    Best regards,
