CC2640: flash loss due to UV light

Hi,

during my cusotmer PLT, there is a process to use UV ray, they found some of the CC2640 will loss the flash contant.

is it perhaps relevant?

We have never heard about cases where UV light has been an issue. The UV light will most likely not go through the packet and reach the die. If it does, light will not erase the flash.

Does the chips in question have the flash content before being exposed of UV and lost it afterwards? (no other steps than UV?)

This is my customers assumption： flash loss was caused by ultraviolet light. The user data loss of the board but he needs ultraviolet to solidify ultraviolet glue.

I want to confirm whether this is the cause of ultraviolet light.

I understand that that is the theory but as said we have not seen any cases where UV has caused any issues.

That is why I asked for a methodic debugging. Can they prove that UV is the only source that could have caused the flash loss? In other words, they have to go step by step and see at which stage the flash get erased.

customer will retest again, if customer have report, i will update.
