CC2564MODA: HSP + BLE simultaneously

Hi,

We are using dual-mode BT module CC2564MODA in our application, which needs to connect to iPhone via BLE and an earpiece via classic BT, simultaneously and seamlessly.

From datasheet its understood that we cannot use assisted BT profile + BLE simultaneously.

I have few questions:

1. Is it possible to use HSP + BLE simultaneously?

2. Is there a assisted/non-assisted mode in HSP profile?

3. How can I use the BT profile (HSP/HFP) in non-assisted mode? Please provide some reference or demo.

Yes, that is correct the controller's co-processor can support either assisted mode or BLE, one at a time..

I need some more clarification. Please help.

Does BT HeadSet profile support non-assisted mode? If yes, how can we do that?

My requirement is to connect and stream audio to an earpiece server from my device(STM32 MCU with CC2564MODA BT module) which acts as an Audio Gateway client.

Is it possible to do this along with a simultaneous BLE connection to an iPhone?

Hi Hari,

I am OK with narrow band speech.

Actually my audio files are kept in the host MCU. I want to play this via BT headset.

So how can I pass this audio from host mcu to BT module?

Can I use I2S interface from mcu to BT module? Or should I use the UART connection between the two?

It will be great if you can share some sample code/ demo program.
