MSP430G2553: Bluetooth Classic Piconet

Part Number: MSP430G2553

Hello,

I would like to build a piconet of four or five RN42-I/RM modules controlled by MSP430s for a portable application. Peer-to-peer has been straightforward, and I have found some good references for the piconet protocol to connect multiple slave devices, but I have not found anything that discusses a specific classic BT module. The Command Reference and Advanced User Guide appear not to discuss the commands necessary for synchronization of the slaves to the master, and probably a few other things I haven't gotten to yet.

Are additional commands documented elsewhere for these modules?

Are these modules capable of forming a piconet? If not, can anyone suggest a classic BT part number that can?

Thanks!

Mike
