Hello ,

I want to test the Sensors BoosterPack on a LAUNCHXL-CC2650, but they use MSP in all the examples that I found and even in the user guide or the Softwares that I can download , I don't know what to do.

can someone help me please

Hi Fatma,

We have an example showing how to use the Sensors BoosterPack temp sensor with Project Zero on the CC2640R2 in SimpleLink Academy. You should be able to backport the changes pretty easily to Project Zero on the CC2650. dev.ti.com/.../

I've tested the example on the CC2640R2 (just build ) and it didn't work as shown

Hi Fatma,

Can you elaborate on the issue you are having? Do you mean that Project Zero doesn't work out of box or that the lab instructions are not working for you?

In fact, I followed the same steps for the cc2650 and I had this problem : #1965 cannot open source file "unistd.h"

I have another question, when I imported the empty project of CC2640R2, the tirtos_builds_CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL_release_ccs project was imported too, so when I imported the empty CC2650 project, there was no such project. What is tirtos_builds_CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL_release_ccs ?

Hello,

Project Zero don't even exist for CC2650 Launchpad in TI Ressource Explorer .

Hi Fatma,

You are right. It is not in Resource Explorer. You can download SimpleLink Academy from the link in my original response: http://software-dl.ti.com/lprf/simplelink_academy/overview.html

Then you can import using the Project->Import CCS Projects... option in CCS. Navigate to where you have installed SimpleLink Academy. The project as is works with BLE-Stack v2.2.1.

Then follow the instructions in the CC2640R2 lab to interface with the Sensors BoosterPack. There may be some changes from the lab instructions but they should be very similar. The Sensors BoosterPack lab does not exist in the version of SimpleLink Academy for the CC2650.

Please let me know if there is any further confusion.
