Hi, 

I just updated to Simplelink 1.50 and find out, for Bluetooth developer Studio is plugin for Simplelink 1.40 only. Do you know if someone is working on new plugin? There are many changes in service callbacks (and more) between 1.40 and 1.50. What do you think, is easier to change my own services or downgrade to 1.40 version?

    Hi Jan,

    Are you using the BLE-Stack or the BLE5-Stack projects? There were only very minor changes between the BLE-Stack between 1.40.00.45 and 1.50.00.58. Your porting guide should be able to give you enough guidance to get you from the generated profile in BLE-Stack v3.1.0 and BLE-Stack v3.1.1.

    Going from BLE5-Stack v1.0.1 in SimpleLink CC2640R2 SDK v1.40.00.45 to 1.50.00.71 is a different story. In that case, I would try to use the SimpleLink Academy Bluetooth Custom Profile Generator from the SimpleLink CC26x2 SDK v1.60.00.43.

    The  code snippets here will be closest to those used in SimpleLink CC2640R2 SDK v1.50.00.71 but don't expect it to build clean right away. If you get stuck, please let me know. Most of the answers will be in the SimpleLink CC26x2 SDK v1.60.00.43 porting guide.

    To get to SimpleLink CC26x2 SDK v1.60.00.43, you will need to use the package picker to select the older SDK.
