RTOS/CC2640R2F: Linking Error in NVM

Hi,

With reference in TI Resource Explorer NVM example and made changes accordingly in project zero.c , board.h and CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.h but i'm getting a Linking error as

undefined first referenced
symbol in file

NVS_config

C:/ti/simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_50_00_58/source/ti/drivers/lib/drivers_cc26x0r2.aem3<NVS.oem3>NVS_count

Please help me in this regard.

Vijay,

To clarify, you are referencing the NVS example to add NVS functionality to the project_zero correct?

You mention making changes to the project zero.c the board.h and the CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.h file, but did you make the changes as well to the CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.c file?

You may also inspect if there are any libraries that it may need to reference at linking. You can do this by comparing what is included in the ARM Link File Search Path directory in both projects. Get there by going to Right Click Project > Properties >ARM Link >File Search path.

Thanks for reply, I also made changes CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.c file then linking error didn't appeared and complied successfully but the program is not running.

I believe it is the same issue you are seeing. I also believe that we will be updating the project zero to include NVS in the future, but I do not have a strict date on that yet.

Thanks for the reply, Issue was resolved. How to store data in to the program memory? Is there any keyword ?

Since you're original issue has been resolved, please mark as resolved. If you have any more specific questions about the the NVS driver and writing to flash, please make a new thread.
