CCS/CC2650: Is there any example code for CC2650 Launchpad which can be used for communicating to send data from the launchpad to the phone via bluetooth?

Hi,

I am using "CC2650 Launchpad". I want to send some data from the bluetooth to the phone. For receiving the data I will use a phone app like "Simplelink Starter". Is there any example code which can be used for sending data from the launchpad to the phone via bluetooth?

Hi Mohammad,

Yes. Simple Peripheral will send a notification to the phone every 5 seconds if the CCCD of Char4 is enabled.

Hi Sean2,

Thanks for your reply. Is there any way to get the "project zero"? Because whenever I am going to the link of "project zero", it shows no project file.

Mohammad,

Download the SimpleLink academy package from here:
software-dl.ti.com/.../overview.html

You can find project zero in the projects folder or import it from resource explorer.

Hi Sean,

Sorry for my late response. I have installed the simplelink academy and found project "ble_projectzero". But when I tried to import it in CCS, I got the following error.

Mohammad,

It appears that you do not have supported for CC13xx/CC26xx SimpleLink devices in your CCS install.
Can you re-install CCS being sure to select these devices to be installed. After that, the device will be recognized by CCS.
