Hello,
I have a question regarding the TI Assisted A2DP_SRC demo with Bluetopia API:

Which data rate is used for A2DP (1Mbps or 2Mbps)?
Thanks and Regards
Tim

Hi Hari,
Thanks for the answer. However, I'm more interested in the data rate over the air in case of A2DP streaming. Can you provide me any information?
Thanks and Regards
Tim

Different modulations in classic BT have different data rate. BR is 1Mbps, 2-EDR is 2Mbps and 3-EDR is 3Mbps.
Whether a BT link will use BR (GFSK) or EDR (2-EDR/3-EDR) rates, is not determined by any settings on the profile or application layer. When two BT devices connect, the data rate / modulation type will be negotiated at the LMP layer and the most suitable modulation will be used by the controller. This is not something that is controlled or accessed from the higher layers (like the A2DP profile).
