I read through the DevPack wiki doc at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Debug_DevPack_User_Guide Using the Debug DevPack with Code Composer Studio IDE where things started to misfire. The example for opening a project seems totally different from what I have on my machine. Under Users>MyFolder>ti there was nothing but external refs. and tirex-localserver. When I looked up the installation directory C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_02_25 the directory hierarchy is not the same and no Projects subdirectory. Reading the release notes only made me guess that I should be looking under C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_02_25\src\examples\sensortag\cc26xx\app. I tried this hierarchy starting with sensortag down to app but no projects were discovered . I know I'm a pest but that's the cost of dealing with a newcomer to the environment. Below a snapshot of the directory hierarchy.
I am working on a 64 bit Windows 10 Pro machine running on an Intel i5-6500 with 8MB of RAM.
I guess it would be nice if the DevPack wiki would be updated to BLE 2-2-2. BTW the BLE wiki page doesn't help either.
