The Texas Instruments part CC2650MODA bxl file imports an empty PCB library file to Altium Designer V18. The schematic library imports correctly, but not the PCB library. I notice through searches that this has been a problem with Ultra librarian and various products for 6 years. Before I commit to purchasing a license for the company I would like to see a fix for this problem using the CC2650MODA bxl file. Thanks.

This is a ticket I raised with ultra Librarian using the TI CC2650MODA bxl download. I notice past post's on E2E have indicated the same problem with bxl downloads. Has anyone found a solution for any TI bxl download, producing a blank PCB library footprint.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with the Ultra Librarian bxl format. Does it help with the attached the gerbers for the CC2650MODA?

Problem solved. Ultra Librarian explained it is a script error with Altium and some bxl imports. They can not isolate a consistent issue to fix the problem, but clicking on the component name or pin designator in Altium PCB library makes the imported bxl footprint magically appear. Hope this may help others importing TI bxl files into Altium.
