Hi,

I have to use an external flash (MX25R8035F) with CC2640R2F.

I use the functions in ext_flash, but when I run the project, the execution is blocked to bspSpiRead function, that is defined in bsp_spi.c.

The execution is blocked to ROM_SSIDataPutNonBlocking.

Can you help me?

Hi Giuseppe,

I would advice you to try the NVS driver that supports external flashes as well:

dev.ti.com/.../_n_v_s_8h.html

There is also an example you should be able to use for testing called "nvsspi" that uses this driver.

I have use ExtFlash.c script and it's work. But many time, when I write the characters in the flash ( for example cacc in ascii, that in hex is 63 61 63 63), I read the value in uppercase and as final or start char @ (i.e. @ACC or CAC@ in hex: 40 41 43 43 or 43 41 43 40 ).

Can you help me?

Hi,

In these cases, have you tried reading out the flash using for example Flash Programmer 2 or Uniflash to verify the data in flash?
