Hello, 

I'm a beginner to  OAD in CC2640R2F MCU. i am  using MX25R1635F external flash memory for OAD. i did following steps

The bin file which is i marked in red color in above image i read that bin file in  btool. I am getting  OAD not successful status. what is the reason for this???

    What error message are you getting when you try to do the OAD? Have you made any changes to the project?

    No,i didn't make any changes in project. In btool it is showing OAD not successful.

    Getting OAD_FLASH_ERR. can i have to  do any changes in program or in command file ???

    Hi mamatha,

    Are you using custom CC2640R2F board? Are you using SDK v1.40? is MX25R1635F external flash one the supported SPI External Flash for CC2640R2F? If it is not supported then OAD will not work. You can check this at code.

    I did some changes in code that way it is not working. i commented those lines now OAD is working. And i have one more question that is i changed scan response data and i did OAD but OAD is not effecting that previous code.

    But i am facing another problem that is i changed scan respone data. and i did OAD. OAD is not effected on previous code. why ????

    Hi Mamatha,

    How are you checking this? If you're using a smart phone you should delete the Bluetooth cache of the phone (or it will have cached information about you device that may be outdated).

    Hello Marie H,
    I am Using BTool for OAD. I changed  scan response data  to "simpleperipheOAD". After completion of OAD i restart my device and connected to that device using BTool. In BTool log i checked scan response data. it is showing "simpleperipheral".
