CC2650: Source code on the Google play store

Part Number: CC2650

Hello team,

Hope you are doing well. Please see customer question below:

Are you able to send me a copy of the android source code for the cc2650? I'm looking for the latest source code on the Google play store.

  • You can download the latest available source code from www.ti.com/.../sensortag-sw
  • YK,
See below feedback form the customer:
TI hasn't released the version of the Android app that you can get from the app store. There are lots of people online that are asking for it. The big problem is that the version they have made available has issues and I can't even see my cc2650 on Bluetooth with that version. So, it's basically junk to me. I think that this is very counter productive for TI. They are showing off the power of their device with the app, but not sharing that power with the developers that could be buying their chips. I thought you might be able to contact someone directly who could send me the code if they aren't ready to release it publicly.
  • I totally agree with your customer but I cannot speak for TI why TI doesn’t want to release the source code of latest iOS app. But iOS or Android application programming isn’t the responsibility of TI development team, is it?
