RTOS/CC2564: A3DPDemo_Src Initialization / OpenStack takes almost 5 seconds

This gets invoked the first time the application/stack is initialized. The controller patch down load etc occurs in this function call, so it is expected to take some time.. Which, host are you using and what is the host CPU clock speed?

Thank you for the response.

We are using an ST32F411 ARM  (Cortex-M4) processor and running at 96 MHz.

So, 4-5 seconds of startup time for OpenStack using the A3DPDemo_SRC is correct behavior?

Is there anyway to reduce this at all?

Generally, since this function gets called once when the device is booted, it is not optimized for running time..
Did, you further profile this function to check how much time the Blutopia library calls to initialize the stack, enable a feature, download firmware is taking Vs console printing logs etc are taking?

Another thought is to increase the UART speed between the Host and CC2564.. With Linux Hosts, we go upto 3M.
