Ti Team,

CC2650LP comes with default firmware which is advertising C2650 Launchpad.

Could you please let me know where I can get the same firmware source code?

Not sure what FW is preloaded on latest LAUNCHXL-CC2650. However, you can find BLE example codes in latest BLE Stack 2.2.2

I am familiar with Ti's SDK and all example codes.

My question is pre-loaded firmware which comes with CC2650 launchpad which is broadcast with name of "CC2650 Launchpad".

Is this project zero firmware?

As I know, ProjectZ is not the preloaded FW on LAUNCHXL-CC2650.

Hi Mahesh,

The out of box code on the cc2650 launchpad is a subset of the sensortag project for the launchpad I believe. I don't think we publish this subset unfortunately, but we do have the sensortag project available here:

I don't believe so at the moment.

Can you inform me why exactly you need it and what the sensortag app can't do that you're looking for?

Hi Evan,

Actually, I need this firmware for the OTA support. I noticed in new released SDK-2.2 takes more space in On-chip OTA than older version so for application development we doesn't have much space to develop or add anything.

I thought CC2650 launchpad pre-built firmware consume less space and we have some more space to develop custom application.

I tried so many times OTA implementation with SDK-2.0 and 2.1 but I didn't get success.

Yes, I refer OTA guide and it's works but the question is on Chip OTA we don't have space to develop our own application compare to older version SDK..

Unfortunately, we don't have plans to release this firmware.

As far as not having room with v2.2.2, how much did it increase? You can continue to use v2.2.1 if you wish or I suggest looking into the CC2640R2F or CC2642R1, both of which have more flash space for application code. Have you looked into these?

I know CC2640R2 have more flash for application. But changing hardware is difficult. So, I need to find the solution with CC2640 chip.MY application size is approximate 8-10 KB.

Mahesh,

Then i suggest you stay with v2.2.1 of the BLE Stack if that originally worked for you. There is not much else I can do at this moment.
